Dr Sabina Bachtold BSc MSc DESAIC FRCA FFPMRCA
Dr Sabina Bachtold has been practicing Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine as a Consultant in Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
since March 2020. She completed her Advanced Pain Medicine training in 2018 in the Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea and
Westminster Hospital and Hillingdon Hospital, this is was complemented by a 6 months post CCT Fellowship in Frimley park
Hospital.
Dr Bachtold is well accustomed to managing complex clinical circumstances through an multidisciplinary pain team clinic with
regular clinical work with Specialist Psychologists and Physiotherapists.
She continues to have a wide portfolio clinical career with practice in Vascular, Obstetric and Emergency Anaesthesia as well as
practicing Pain Medicine in an outpatient setting and an inpatient setting. She is significantly involved in the teaching
programme of anaesthetic trainees as well as the delivery of pain medicine training for junior doctors of other specialities. Dr
Bachtold has been an examiner for the European Diploma of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care since 2022.
Dr Bachtold has joined Pain Expert in 2024 is available to take on claimant, defendant and joint instruction in chronic pain cases.
